Sacred Sacrament of Grace

Sacrament of Marriage uniting a man and woman in a lifelong covenant of love, open to the gift of children and rooted in Christ's love for the Church.

Requirements

  • Original Baptismal Card (with LB Number) for both parties
  • Parish Membership Card
  • Doctrinal classes (required for non-Catholic partner)
  • Compulsory Marriage Preparation Classes (in batches)
  • Pre-nuptial inquiry meeting with the priest
  • Medical report
  • Court affidavit/certificate of single status
  • Marriage bans
  • Sponsors form to be collected from the parish priest)
  • Non-refundable administrative fee

How to Prepare

  1. 1Contact parish office at least 3 months before desired date
  2. 2Meet with the parish priest for initial interview
  3. 3Attend Pre-Cana marriage preparation program
  4. 4Obtain necessary church documents
  5. 5Schedule wedding rehearsal
